David Haye vs. Dereck Chisora Set for July 14
David Haye and Dereck Chisora will meet at Upton Park on July 14 as the pair look to settle their domestic heavyweight dispute.
The fight will be screened on BoxNation and is likely to attract controversy with neither man holding a British boxing licence. Haye relinquished his own registration when he retired last October and Chisora was stripped of his licence after brawling with his London counterpart in February.
Consequently both boxers now hold licences with the Luxembourg Boxing Federation, however remain able to fight in the UK due to EU freedom of trade regulations.
Haye has not fought since July 2011 when losing a clear points decision to Wladimir Klitschko. Chisora’s last outing was a similarly comprehensive defeat to elder Klitschko sibling Vitali in February.
