Dana White Reminds Folks that He and Roy Nelson Don't Get Along Well

Roy Nelson earned his way into the UFC by capturing the title of Ultimate Fighter. Since that time, he has worked himself into a position to coach on TUF opposite Shane Carwin.

The two heavyweights will meet in December, while the show debuts this Friday night on FX. The two-hour debut episode airs at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Nelson (17-7) has never been a quiet warrior, instead saying whatever was on his mind at the time. "Big Country" even got into a war of words with UFC president Dana White, who addressed Nelson during an appearance on Inside MMA on AXS TV recently.

"This season was interesting," White said. "Roy and I don't get along too well. He's got his ideas and his way of doing things, and I have mine. He's a coach. We let him go. We let him do his thing, and you'll see how it goes."

The Ultimate Fighter 16 - which will also go by the name TUF Fridays - will feature 32 welterweights fighters for the premier episode. Sixteen will earn spots in the house, with eight being selected by Nelson and eight by Carwin.
