Things just couldn’t be better for the Denver Broncos. They have a great head coach that has led them to a hot 2-6 start. They traded up to draft a QB that excels at short yardage. And now, their star LB has been arrested for DUI…again.
Denver police arrested D.J. Williams early this morning on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. He was pulled over at 2:50 AM in his Hummer and promptly taken into custody. He was released at 10:30 AM after spending the night in detox.
This is exactly what you need to do to get a struggling team turned around, and head coach Josh McDaniels must really like what he’s seeing out of his guys right now.
“We’re still trying to gather information. I have not spoken to D.J. We’re not at the end of this process,” McDaniels said this morning.
McDaniels thinks that if he can now just get Tim Tebow to start having regular casual sex, his team will be Super Bowl bound.
“It’s disappointing no matter who it is. Like I said, the behavior, the fact that we’re two days away from a game … it’s very disappointing to me and to my organization. I would be no matter who it was,” McDaniels said.
This is the second time Williams has been arrested for DUI. He got in trouble for the same thing back in 2005.
