Man, Cleveland is not to be messed with.
In the latest example of a city being incapable of moving on from LeBron James' departure, a Cleveland radio show brought in a witch doctor to put a curse on the city’s ex-god. Strangely enough, given the Heat’s poor showing in its premiere game against the Boston Celtics, the hoops hex may have worked.
“Rover’s Morning Glory” is the morning show for WMMS-FM in Cleveland and, for whatever reason, they opted to bring in a witch doctor to put a curse on James. To accomplish this feat the doctor used bones, blood and a James jersey.
While the idea of putting a hex on a player may sound stupid, the Heat did play ridiculously bad basketball against Boston Tuesday night, so maybe there is something to it.
