Chris Paul is the best point guard in the NBA. Even before he came to Los Angeles and single-handedly changed how people viewed the Clippers, everyone knew that, skills wise, no one else in basketball playing the position was superior to him.
The big problem everyone had with Paul for the vast majority of his career is his injury-prone nature. Through eight seasons as a pro, he has never played a full 82-game campaign. He has played 78 or more games four times, and 64 or fewer games three times. That’s the only knock on him – folks aren’t entirely sure how durable he will be going into a given season.
When Paul is healthy, though – he’s unstoppable. The Memphis Grizzlies found that out first hand on Monday night when he dropped 22 points and nine assists on them right before hitting this ridiculous game-winner:
The Clippers ultimately won 93-91 and now lead the series 2-0.
