Another goddamn loss to a bad team. I'm not one to get upset over a regular season loss, but right now the Celtics look like they don't even care. What happened to no layups? What happened to ubuntu? What happened to winning?
Boston has struggled through its last four games. Even in their 85-82 victory over Minnesota last night the C's looked terrible. Tonight, they fell to the Pacers--a potential first-round matchup.
The Celts lead by four heading into the final frame, and eventually fell 107-100. 15 4th quarter points is just not going to cut it.
Paul Pierce, Glen Davis, and an injured Rajon Rondo combined to score 65 points on 24-37 shooting. Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, and Jeff Green combined for just 15 attempts.
Roy Hibbert scored a game-high 26 points, while Danny Granger and Darren Collison added 18 and 17 respectively.
As a whole Boston shot an impressive 54.8% from the field. It's too bad they let the Indiana Pacers shoot 54.5%.
If Boston doesn't snap back to reality against the Spurs Thursday night, they'll have some serious issues entering the playoffs. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m.
