Cavs' Kyrie Irving Wins 2012 NBA Rookie of the Year Award

Kyrie Irving has won Rookie of the Year for the 2011-12 season.

This was an easy pick. Averages of 18.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists. Second place was the awesome Ricky Rubio at 10.6 points and 8.2 dimes per game... though he hurt his knee in March.

Curious votes? Isaiah Thomas should be higher (7th), Brandon Knight doesn't get enough respect (8th), Iman Shumpert somehow got a first-place vote, and Josh Selby somehow got a third-place vote, all 2.3 points per game of him.

But, hey, they got the winner right.
