Cage Warriors 51 Fight Card Review
Cage Warriors 51 year-end show recently added two more fights as the card continues to grow.
A 120 pound women's catchweight fight between Aisling Daly (13-4) and Katja Kankaanpaa (6-0-1) has been booked for the main card. In preliminary action, a bantamweight fight between Liam James (6-4) and Alan Philpott (7-3) was also announced.
Daly's three fight win streak ended this summer and she now has a two fight losing streak in front of her. Kankaanpaa comes in undefeated, last competing in September.
James looks to improve his Cage Warriors record of 1-1. Philpott earned his second win in a row last month at Cage Warriors 49. All of his wins have come via submission.
The show is headlined with a featherweight championship bout between Conor McGregor (11-2) and Jim Alers (9-1).
Cage Warriors 51 takes place December 31 from The Helix in Ireland. MMA Junkie will air the main card and Facebook will stream the preliminary fights.
