The NFL season is over, and with many expecting a lockout come March 4th, there are some who are essentially saying “fuck it” ahead of time. Why stay at home on a Friday night and study your playbook or workout when we don’t know when football will be back? Just ask Oakland Raiders RB Michael Bush, why not just go for it?
And go for it he did. On early Saturday morning at 4:30 AM, Bush was allegedly pulled over and arrested for OWI in Indiana. We didn’t know what OWI stood for at first, and our first guess led us to believe that it was a racist plot to have Bush arrested. Only White Indiana? Yeah, but that’s not what it stands for thankfully. It’s Operating While Intoxicated. That was our second guess.
Bush is kind of being counted on to be part of a 1-2 punch in the Oakland backfield along with Darren McFadden. He’s scheduled to be a free agent (whenever that happens), but Oakland has said that they’d like to hold on to him.
A fourth-round pick in 2007 out of Louisville, Bush had a career high 655 yards on 158 carries in 2010.
