Brock Lesnar Returning to WWE Seems to Sit Well with Dana White

Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar retired from MMA last year. Minutes after the decision, many felt like it was only a matter of time before Lesnar returned to pro wrestling and the WWE.

Recently, Lesnar showed up on an edition of WWE's Monday Night Raw, and he is now booked back in the main event of the company. The former college wrestling standout shot to stardom while competing inside the squared circle before leaving and trying his hand at a career in the NFL.

UFC president Dana White, during a post-fight press conference following UFC 145, gave his take on Lesnar's return to wrestling. Lesnar earned wins over the likes of Randy Couture, Shane Carwin and Frank Mir while competing inside the Octagon.

"I'm happy for him," said White (thanks to for transcribing). "To do what he did in the WWE, came here and did what he did, now he's back over there. Good for him; good for them."

Lesnar retired after back-to-back losses at the hands of Cain Velasquez - in a bout for the UFC heavyweight title - and Alistair Overeem - in a fight for the No. 1 contender spot in the division.
