Well, that’s not good.
Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade left the team’s first preseason game against the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday with a strained right hamstring. He did not return and was almost immediately taken into the locker room to be examined by trainers and team doctors.
The game was going very well for Wade and the rest of the “Big Three” early as he scored on a jumper to give Miami their first five points of the evening. However, with a little more than eight and a half minutes remaining in the first quarter, he came up limping on what appeared to be a run-of-the-mill play.
