Despite a recession that has even corporate CEOs returning their private jets, companies were more than willing to shell out as much as $3 million for an ad during Super Bowl XLIII. Unfortunately, critics widely agree that 2009 was a down year for the America's annual love affair with commercials, but that doesn't mean there weren't some bright spots (free Doritos anyone?).
