Bellator Summer Series Light Heavyweight Tournament Going Down on June 22
Bellator officials announced the start of the Bellator Summer Series light heavyweight tournament on June 22 from The Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort in Chester, West Virginia. The Bellator 71 main card will air on MTV2.
Along with the start of the tournament, former Strikeforce heavyweight contender Brett Rogers will make his debut in the promotion against Kevin Asplund. The two are former training partners, but no longer have a relationship.
Other bouts set for the event include Roger Hollett vs. Attila Vegh, Richard Hale vs. Beau Tribolet and Philipe Lins vs. Marcus Vanttinen. Travis Wiuff will also compete.
