Antonio Silva is Down to Fight Junior dos Santos

If UFC officials told Antonio Silva that he would be fired if he declined a bout with former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos, "Bigfoot" would accept the bout.

However, that appears to be the only way Silva would ever enter the Octagon against his teammate.

"I wouldn't have any interest because we're from the same team, but I've got a family, parents,, if the UFC tells me that I will be fired if I refuse to fight, then I will have to talk to 'Cigano' and make the fight happen," said Silva, during a recent interview with Fighters Only.

Silva is currently set to meet Alistair Overeem in February at UFC 156: Aldo Vs. Edgar. UFC president Dana White has stated that the winner is likely to earn a title shot against Cain Velasquez, who stopped Silva early in 2012.

In his own mind, Silva believes he is behind "Fabricio Werdum, (Antonio) Rodrigo 'Minotauro' (Nogueira) and more people," when it comes to the heavyweight rankings and dos Santos' place in them.
