Anthony Pettis Answers a Big Question Regarding His Weight

Anthony Pettis put the rest the rumors of him dropping down to featherweight and facing UFC champion Jose Aldo. It had been talked about that "Showtime" would move from lightweight to featherweight for an opportunity at the title.

"I'm not dropping to 145 to fight Aldo," Pettis wrote on his Facebook page Wednesday. "155 is my home and I'll get that belt."

Pettis was declared the No. 1 contender to Benson Henderson and the UFC lightweight title following a win over Joe Lauzon. However, it seems now that Frankie Edgar will get a rematch with "Smooth," forcing Pettis to wait on the sidelines.

Since coming over to the UFC, Pettis has won two of his three fights. He defeated Henderson in the WEC for the lightweight title back in 2010.
