With 6 Great UFC Events Still Remaining in 2012, Let’s Review Some History

This has been a fantastic breakout year for the UFC, and things figure to only get better in 2013. Were there some bumps in the road? Sure, but that was to be expected. Every successful sport, beginning with soccer and ending with American football, has experienced growing pains. How they came out of their rocky times is what ultimately dictated their current statuses, and the UFC has persevered through its darker days (read: the UFC 151 debacle) quite triumphantly.

Still on the agenda this year: UFC 154, UFC Macao, UFC on FOX 5, UFC on FX 6, TUF 16 Finale, and UFC 155. As we revel in all of the great events that will go down over the next 60 or so days, though, let’s also remember how we got to this point.
