5 Interesting Matches Added to The Ultimate Fighter Live Finale

The UFC revealed today five new bouts for the TUF Live: Finale lineup, all to be contested between cast members eliminated from the season.

Top Team Cruz seed Justin Lawrence (3-0) has been pitted against Team Faber's John Cofer (7-1). Lawrence was the favorite to win the season, but was surprisingly submitted and eliminated in the quarter-final round by Mike Chiesa; Cofer was defeated by Vinc Pichel via submission one round earlier.

Team Cruz's Myles Jury (9-0) will take on Chris Saunders (9-2) from Team Faber. Jury, a teammate to Dominick Cruz, was eliminated from the tournament in the first round by Al Iaquinta, dropping a split-decision. Saunders made it to the quarter-finals where he lost a majority decision to Vinc Pichel.

Team Faber rep Cristiano Marcello (12-3) will do battle with Team Cruz's Sam Sicilia (10-0). Marcello and Sicilia both lost in the tournament's first round, by knockout and split decision to Justin Lawrence and Chris Saunders, respectively.

Lastly, Team Faber's Daron Cruickshank (10-2) meets Chris Tickle (7-4) from Team Cruz. Cruickshank and Tickle were both eliminated from the first round of the tournament in the first round of their respective fights; Cruickshank was knocked out by James Vick and Tickle was submitted by Joe Proctor.

So far, the fight card for The Ultimate Fighter: Live Finale -- which takes place on June 1 at the Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas -- looks like this:
