A couple of days after the United States and Argentina played one of the dirtier Olympic basketball games in recent memory, Spain and France decided to get in on the action.
With 24 seconds remaining in Wednesday’s quarterfinal showdown, a frustrated Nicolas Batum hit Spain’s Juan Carlos Navarro where no man should ever be hit. With a closed fist, no less.
Needless to say, the blow was very effective, and it ultimately caused Navarro to collapse to the floor writhing in pain.
Hilariously enough (for us who didn't get hit in the groin), Batum wasn’t ejected for the move.

After the game, Batum was asked why he did what he did. His answer was amazing.
"I wanted to give him a good reason to flop."
Spain ultimately won 66-59, but Navarro probably won’t be able to enjoy the victory for at least a couple of days.
