For the first few days, swimming dominated most of the United States-related headlines coming from the 2012 London Olympics. That all changed on Sunday, however, when 2011 World All-Around champion Jordyn Wieber failed to qualify for this year's all-around final.
Wieber finished with a 60.032 – the third highest American score in the qualification round. Unfortunately, only the top two scorers from each country are permitted to advance.
Alexandra Raisman who finished with a 60.391 and Gabrielle Douglas who finished with a 60.265 will represent the U.S. in the all-around final.
