Nobody thought that the Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks would be as good as they have been this year. The latter squad may be the one that’s soaked up all the attention as of late, but the former had a nice little run going up until about five games ago. Unfortunately, after starting the season off with six wins in eight tries, the Bucks have dropped four of their last five – including a 102-88 home loss to the Knicks on Wednesday night.
Carmelo Anthony led all scorers in this one with 29 points on nine-of-18 shooting. Tyson Chandler and Ray Felton pitched in 17 points and 12 points, respectively. All in all, five New York players finished in double figures. (Steve Novak: 19 points on five-of-seven shooting from behind the arc.)
On the other side, Brandon Jennings and Beno Urdrih led all Bucks scorers with 18 points apiece. Monta Ellis pitched in 17 points on six-of-11 shooting.
