There was a lot of intrigue surrounding Sunday’s showdown between the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers, and very little of it had to do with anything that the latter squad brought to the table. No, the reason that all eyes were on this game is because everybody was curious about how New York would bounce back from its first real setback of the year.
As it turns out: pretty well.
The Knicks ultimately won the game 88-76. Carmelo Anthony led the way for his squad with 26 points and nine rebounds. Raymond Felton pitched in 11 points and eight assists. Nobody else scored in double figures for the Knicks.
Paul George led the way for Indiana with 20 points on six-of-15 shooting.
