2012 NBA Highlights: Boston Celtics vs. Brooklyn Nets (Nov. 15)

Rajon Rondo is the part of the Boston Celtics that makes them function correctly, so expecting them to win against good teams without him is sort of unreasonable. That said, injuries happen. You have to play through them, and you have to be able to pull out a few regular season victories sans your big name superstars once in a while.

Boston wasn’t able to do that on Thursday night, though, ultimately falling to the Brooklyn Nets 102-97.

Deron Williams and Brook Lopez led the way for the winning side with 24 points each. Joe Johnson pitched in 19 points (on 19 shots), too. Four of five starters finished in double figures.

Paul Pierce led the way for Boston with 22 points on eight-of-12 shooting.
