The famed forensic pathologist and New York City’s former chief medical examiner, Dr. Michael Baden, claims that Jeffrey Epstein’s death was indeed, a homicide.

After Baden was hired by Mark Epstein, the pedophile’s sibling and brother, Baden was able to conduct and observe his hypothesis pertaining to Jeffrey Epstein’s death. It was previously reported that Epstein had been found hanging in his Manhattan lockup room just last August.

On Wednesday, Baden shares his thoughts on Fox News. “I think that the evidence points toward homicide rather than suicide.”

He also continues to share his thoughts that there may be other powerful players that have come into play with Epstein’s death. “The brother is concerned that if [Epstein] was murdered, then other people who have information might be at risk. If they think he has information, his life could be in jeopardy.”

From his observation, Baden says that there had been signs of “unusual” activity since the investigation had started, saying that the victim’s wounds were “more consistent with ligature homicidal strangulation,” and that there had also been two notable fractures on Epstein’s larynx on the side of his head, and one his hyoid bone, just above the Adam’s apple.

“Hanging does not cause these broken bones and homicide does,” he states on Fox. “A huge amount of pressure was applied.”

Baden calls for the federal prosecutors’ assistance to release the DNA sample findings as well.

“They took fingernail clippings to see if there’s anybody else’s DNA on it and that hasn’t been released, neither has information about whose DNA is on the ligature out of torn strips of orange sheets,” he continues. “Whoever made it has to have a lot of DNA on it and the brother has been asking for that from day one. The issue would be, did somebody come in and cause his death?”

Baden also states that if this was truly a planned crime, then “a number of people had to be involved if this was a homicide.”
