Authorities just made a shocking discovery at the border:
Feds discover “drug tunnel” under U.S.-Mexico border. The tunnel leads from a Mexicali restaurant into a house in Calexico, California. Traffickers spent over $300,000 to build the customized house. They started using the tunnel in February, unaware U.S. drug agents were monitoring it. Officials arrested 4 people and seized 1,400 pounds of marijuana. Over 75 tunnels like this one have been shut down so far, with one “super tunnel” even boasting a railway system. The State Department estimates that 90% of the cocaine entering the U.S. comes through Mexico.
