Company Faces Backlash For Making 'Sexy' College Admissions Scandal Costume

The online retailer store Yandy who previously debuted the viral “Beyond Burger” costume now adds a raunchy new item to the list - a bright sexy orange Halloween suit designed and inspired by the recent college bribery scandal.

“Oops, you can’t always trust those motherly instincts,” the item description from Yandy says, with a following “Can’t row your way out of this one!”

The fashionable garb features a tight fitting crop top and matching high-waist and tight orange jeans, with a crossed-out “Mom of the Year” award and a big, stamped-out “Inmate”, complete with a “Yandy University” print on the backside.

The online retailer store also proudly debuted the costume with the hashtag “FullJailHouse” just last Wednesday on twitter, garnering a lot of reactions from the media.

This raunchy Halloween costume seems to be a jab at the famous nationwide college admissions scandal by “Full House” star actress, Lori Loughlin, who played the role of Aunt Becky from the series.

It can be recalled that earlier on a previous news report that the actress and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli had paid $500,000 in attempted bribery at the University of Southern California in a plan to fraudulently enrol their daughters, Olivia Jade, 19, and Isabella, 20, as new team crew recruits.

The couple has pleaded not guilty to the incident, who may face almost 40years’ jail time on various cases such as charges of bribery, conspiracy, money laundering and fraud.

Loughlin also admitted that she was “scared and upset after hearing that her fellow actress Felicity Huffman had also been charged of a similar college admissions scandal, however she only faces a 14-day trial and is also highly determined to fight over her rights on her role over the incident.
