A Colorado town’s entire police force quits. The fourman team resigned just days before the town’s new mayor was sworn into office. Similar mass exoduses happened last year in Missouri, Oklahoma, and South Carolina. Police departments all over the country are reporting a spike in officer resignations and a drop in officer recruits. One local man says," It gives us concern for our safety and for the business safety as well. Many are worried it will force police academies to lower their recruiting standards. Which could further hurt public opinion of police. Is there a way to turn the tides?
