In a hilarious new viral video, one woman uses an app to speak to a cat, who immediately responds to the translation in a unique way.
Penny Adams, a professional photographer, encountered the cat, Flam, when she arrived at the house to take pictures of another cat, Waffles. When Adams couldn’t get Waffles to look at the camera with toys and treats, she resorted to the translation app.
Although Adams clearly meant her words to be innocent when she spoke them into the cat language translation app on her smartphone, Flam seemed to take offense.
Adams, who volunteers at a Cat Shoppe Rescue center in Tennessee, doesn’t do a good job apologizing to Flam for her comments, since the cat immediately takes action. Flam scratches and snarls, then backs off.
“Who knows what the app was really saying in cat voice,” Adams noted, “but he sure didn’t like it.”
Adams added that she and Flam's owner got quite a laugh out of the app.
To date, the video has been viewed over 800,000 times.
