Amanda Marie Warfel pleaded guilty on July 6 to disorderly conduct in Red Lion, Pennsylvania, which entailed having sex so loudly in her apartment that her neighbor complained.
Warfel, whose sex sessions were allegedly so loud that her neighbor's furniture shook, has been in jail since March 22, notes the York Daily Record.
The 25-year-old woman was sentenced to 45 to 90 days in the York County Prison for her amplified intercourse, but is still behind bars because of a detainer from Lancaster County.
According to the York Daily Record, Warfel shared a wall with her neighbor, who complained about her music, sexual escapades, and threats.
Warfel previously pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and harassment in April, charges which were linked to racist comments that she made to the neighbor, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
During a court hearing, Warfel said that she wished that her neighbor was in court because she "wanted to apologize."
District Judge John Fishel ordered Warfel to pay her court costs and told her to stay away from her neighbor, which Warfel agreed to.
The neighbor, Tanya Saylor, told the York Daily Record that she had to put headphones on two of her daughters at night because of the noises coming from Warfel's side of the shared wall.
"It's pretty pathetic when you have to have a protocol due to your neighbor's actions," Saylor recalled.
Saylor said that she, her terminally ill husband and her five kids have had to endure the loud noises for two years.
Saylor recalled that she knocked on Warfel's door to ask her to tone it down, but Warfel shouted out the girls' names, threatened them and described her sex acts during intercourse.
According to court papers, Warfel was allegedly "loudly fornicating and banging around her bedroom to the degree that the victims' dresser and her own bed shook."
"We're not a family that gets easily offended," Saylor said. "She harassed my kids for two years. We let it go for two years ... I shouldn't have let it go that long. I should have started calling the police a year ago."
Saylor's 17-year-old daughter has cancer and once had to be quarantined after some medical treatments, Saylor recalled, so Warfel had sex "nonstop, making sure that my daughter heard."
