When Amy Estrada found out her boyfriend had been cheating on her, she made some big plans involving her boyfriend's car.
"Since the car was in my name, I decided to repossess it from him," the Michigan woman said, smiling.
She posted an ad on Craigslist selling his Dodge Nitro, which she bought for him, with the headline: 'Cheating boyfriend thought he was Batman'.
"I got that car for him in my name because I thought that he was going to love me forever," she said.
Her boyfriend decided during his relationship to customize the car. It was inspired by the Batmobile, with a matte black finish, Batman logos and decals all over, and technological upgrades such as Bluetooth and a touchscreen radio that plays movies and Pandora. The upgrades cost $5,000, which Estrada found out was paid for by the other woman.
Once Amy discovered the affair, she began plotting her revenge.
"I knew this was the way I could kind of just hurt him back where it counted," Estrada said.
The car is parked on Amy's street with a note on the back that reads, "When you are a liar and a cheater and an abuser and you have your side chick pay to trick out, customize, and paint your "Batmobile" your girlfriend (ex) who worked her ass off to get you that vehicle has it re-poed! Bye 'Batman!'"
