'White People' Dating Site Billboard Causes Controversy In Utah (Video)

A billboard for WhereWhitePeopleMeet.com is offending people in West Valley, Utah (video below).

A person who wished to remain anonymous told FOX 13 about the dating service and its address in North Salt Lake.

The news station reached out to the website, did not receive a reply, but notes the website states: "Here at 'Where White People Meet.Com' we believe in the concept that all people have the right to 'Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.'"

"We also believe that finding your perfect partner, your soul mate is one of the best ways, as humans, to obtain happiness. Furthermore we believe that all men are created equal (the word men stands for a species, not gender)."

The Salt Lake Tribune reported on Dec. 31, 2015 that the dating site had 35 members, but same-sex searches were not allowed in the site's search field.

The newspaper noted that one member wore blackface, was listed as "married" and had a username that made reference to a sexual act; that profile was later removed.
