Alabama Police Announce Arrest Warrant On Facebook

A video shared to Facebook by Gulf Shores, Alabama, police telling a man that a warrant is out for his arrest has gone viral.

In a clip originally shared to Twitter, a beachgoer can be seen throwing a football at a police patrol vehicle after somebody next to him shouts, “F*** the police!”

The video was accompanied with the caption, “When the cops show up to Gulf Shores…”

The Gulf Shores Police Department included the clip in their Facebook video. After showing the clip from Twitter, the video cuts to a message that reads: “Hey Kameron, we found you. Great arm. Bad decision. An arrest warrant has been issued for you. You can turn yourself in at the Gulf Shores Police Department.”

Police identified the man in the video as Kameron Lane Heady. The warrant out for his arrest says he is being charged for harassment.

Since the police department posted the video on March 18, it has gone viral, garnering over 260,000 views, 2,000 likes and 3,300 shares in just three days.

Earlier on March 18, Gulf Shores banned alcohol on beaches, WAFF reports. The ban went into effect that day.
