Here's A Simple Way To Make Caramel In Your Microwave (Video)

Regardless of how you pronounce it, we can all agree that caramel candies are delicious. In just a few minutes and with a few ingredients, you can make your own tasty batch of caramels at home.

This video, from the YouTube channel Todd’s Kitchen, shows you an easy recipe for cooking up caramel bites using the microwave and just six ingredients, according to Reshareworthy.

For the recipe, you will need:

1/2 cup corn syrup (or substitute honey or golden syrup)

1/4 cup butter

1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

1/2 cup white sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

According to WonderHowTo, since water removal is key to the caramelization process, making caramels in the microwave is both easy and foolproof. The site suggests making these 7-minute caramels in a microwave that has a turntable to avoid hot spots that will make the sugar burn.
