Video of a Richmond, Virginia, police officer singing the popular song “Let It Go” with a group of children went viral.
In the video (below), officer Jonathan Natoli can be seen singing the song — which became popular from its inclusion in the movie "Frozen" — with a group of children while at a community birthday party, NBC 12 reports. Natoli told rhe news station that he had no idea he was being recorded and was just enjoying the party.
The video quickly went viral, garnering over 39,000 views on Facebook as of Dec. 28.
“I was surprised,” 10-year-old Ameyah Walton, one of the singers in the video, said of the video's rapid popularity.
“I was like, ‘Oh My God!’" Walton's mother added. "I was excited the whole morning! I didn't know what to do!”
Natoli said he felt compelled to join in on the sing-along when the song started playing.
“The kids seems a little shy about singing out loud, so I just figured if I was doing it, they'd do it,” he said.
NBC 12 asked Natoli if he was a trained singer, to which he responded that he was “glad” that the video didn’t pick up his voice too much.
