Trump Forgot To Hide Something In Cinco De Mayo Tweet

During his 'interesting' attempt to reach out to Hispanic voters, Donald Trump forgot to cover up one crucial detail before sending out his tweet.

On May 5, the presumptive Republican nominee tweeted a photo of himself eating a taco bowl with the caption: "Happy #CincoDeMayo! The best taco bowls are made in Trump Tower Grill. I love Hispanics!"

While numerous Americans rolled their eyes at the photo, others took a closer look and noticed something that Trump likely regrets not having hidden before sending out his tweet. Under a stack of newspapers, a photo of Marla Maples, Trump’s ex-wife, is peeking out from the bottom of the pile. The photo was taken of Maples after she won first place in the Miss Hawaiian Tropic International beauty pageant in 1985, The Daily Mail reports.

Maples, Trump’s second wife, was married to the business mogul years before he had his eye set on the White House. Trump divorced his first wife, Ivana, in 1991 once his affair with Maples had become tabloid fodder. Maples gave birth to the couple’s only child together, Tiffany Trump, in 1993, two months before they got married.

Although they divorced in 1999, Maples is still fighting off questions about her opinion of Trump and his campaign as the Republican front-runner. Maples also took part in the most recent season of "Dancing with the Stars," which put her back into the spotlight.

"It's been a crazy six months for me," Maples said in March, according to New York Daily News. "I've had people constantly coming to me, wanting my opinion about the presidential race, and I've maintained a lot of privacy. But now that I'm stepping out [as] part of ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ it's intensified even more."

The Trump Cafe, not the Trump Tower Grill, offered specials as part of Cinco De Mayo, according to The Daily Mail. However, an Eater review of a Mexican-inspired meal provided by the restaurant stated that the meal "was so devoid of flavor, it rendered an insult to Mexicans every bit as profound as Trump’s previous pronouncements."
