Travis Browne's Wife Takes Aim At Ronda Rousey, But Is The Criticism Fair?

When UFC star Ronda Rousey sported a new diamond ring while hosting "Saturday Night Live" on Jan. 23, not everyone was celebrating her apparent engagement to boyfriend Travis Browne.

When Browne’s estranged wife Jenna Renee Webb saw the sparkler on Rousey’s finger that night, she took to social media.

Re-posting a picture of Ronda wearing the ring, Webb wrote: “Is Ronda Rousey wearing a promise ring? As in ‘I promise not to hit you like my current wife’ ring?”

Webb says Browne assaulted her in July, prompting her to leave him. She then delivered a warning to Rousey about being his next victim of domestic violence.

“When he hits you across your pretty face don't worry, I'll be right here to say #IToldYouSo I wish you both the best #yourewelcome #hyprocrite #thankyou #DNB,” Webb added.

Browne has denied he was ever violent with his wife and a UFC-ordered, third-party examination cleared him. There has been no police investigation, according to Daily Mail.

After Rousey wrapped up her "SNL" performance, which has received critical acclaim, she was seen heading out in the New York blizzard with her fiance.

While Browne and Rousey have not confirmed if they are engaged, they were together after the show, reports Daily Mail.

It’s uncertain when Rousey and Browne started their relationship, with Browne confirming in October the pair had been dating since the summer, around the same time Webb says she was beaten.

Browne told MMA Hour. “Dating is for children. Dating is for kids. Over the summer, through all the s--- that I had to shuffle through, that I had to sift through, Ronda and I started talking throughout the summer and I’ll say now that we are together.

He added, "She’s my woman and I’m her man. There’s no boyfriend, girlfriend stuff. There’s no dating. We’re together.”
