Stanford wide receiver Francis Owusu made an amazing touchdown catch during a football game against UCLA on Oct. 15 (video below).
In a third quarter trick play, Stanford running back Christian McCaffery took the snap, made a hand off to running back Bryce Love, who tossed the ball to quarterback Kevin Hogan who threw a long bomb to Owusu, reports the Los Angeles Times.
Owusu reached his arms around UCLA defender Jaleel Wadood and caught the ball on Wadood's back for the score.
Wadood was penalized for pass interference even though he appeared to have excellent coverage on Owusu.
"I saw it for a little bit and then from there I felt the ball after that," Owusu said after the game, notes ESPN. "I didn't really see it and squeezed as hard as I could when I felt it."
Stanford coach David Shaw added: "I still can't describe the catch. I don't understand what happened, to be honest."
Stanford was victorious over UCLA, 56-35.
