Woman Live Streams Herself Harassing Police (Video)

An Iowa woman is facing backlash after live streaming a video of herself verbally harassing police officers (video below).

WQAD reports that Melyssa Jo Kelly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was in Brewhemia cafe when she spotted two police officers, one of whom was wearing a black arm band, signifying solidarity with fallen comrades.

Recently, two Des Monies officers were shot and killed while sifting in their squad cars.  Also there was a police-involved shooting in Cedar Rapids where 37-year-old Jerome “Danky” Mitchell was left in critical condition after a traffic stop.

Kelly referred to that instance when she verbally badgered the two officers.

“She doesn’t give a s**t about the man who is in critical care at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics with a bullet in his neck from one of the wonderful and vicious thug brothers in blue,” said Kelly.

Kelly continues to taunt the officers, and refuses to step outside when they ask her to.  She was even asked to leave by the cafe owner, but refused to do so.  The officer then gives Kelly a verbal trespass warning.

Kelly responds by saying, “Don’t pretend like you serve and protect, you b***h… out of my way, popo.”

Since being posted online, the video has received just shy of 200,000 views.

Court records show that the 65-year-old Kelly has been ordered to pay fines for at least four counts of disorderly conduct, two counts of interference with official acts and one count of trespass.
