Shortest Person To Ever Dunk A Basketball? (Video)

A 5-foot-2-inch student who plays basketball for Jean Ribault High School in Jacksonville, Florida, was recently filmed dunking a basketball (video below).

William Easton posted a video of his dunk on Instagram, which has more than 56,000 views since July 21.

According to, there is currently no record listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for the shortest person to dunk a basketball.

In a darker story, New Yorkers refused to leave a line for some Cronuts (cross between a croissant and a doughnut) July 22, even though a dead body was on a nearby bench, reports the New York Post.

The bizarre incident happened outside the Dominique Ansel Bakery, where about a dozen customers stayed in line for the tasty treats.

"I didn’t see anyone leave the line," Molly Young, a witness, told the newspaper. "It didn’t put a dent in anyone’s appetite."

Young tweeted at the time: "Just watched police relocate the line of people waiting for Cronuts so they could remove a dead body from a nearby bench. So that’s a nice snapshot of New York in 2016."

She told the New York Post: "I find it more perplexing than anything. It’s viscerally shocking to see that, and by the time I got to the office I felt queasy and shaken and not in the mood for breakfast."

Jessica Wright, a second witness, said one person did get out of the line momentarily to notify the bakery of "the dead guy" who was about 40 feet away.

"A guy in line was waiting for a Cronut and saw a body on the first bench," Wright added. "He brought it to the attention of a Dominique Ansel Bakery employee. She saw the dead guy and called 911. They came and pronounced him dead."

An unidentified source told the newspaper that the dead man was Andrew Lang, who had passed away about 10 hours earlier.

An employee of the bakery, who didn't give her name, said, "There was no line. A man came in and told us. It is an unfortunate situation. Nothing scandalous."
