Shooting Victim Gives Amusing Interview To TV Reporter (Video)

KHQA reporter Reyna Harvey knocked on the door of shooting victim Devon Hawkins in the early morning hours of Jan. 29.  He gave her an amusing interview in Quincy, Illinois (video below).

“You know, I’m in the room chillin’, kickin’ like I usually do, drinking," Williams told Harvey. "And somebody shot right through my back window, hit me in the chest. I’m like, 'S---, get my son out of the room.' I wasn't even trippin' over it, it's a petty wound, but I ain't even trippin' though."

Harvey asked to see Williams' wound and he lifted his shirt up to show her a bloody bandage on the side of his torso.

Harvey inquired if Williams knew who might have shot him or why, and he replied, "I don't know what's going on, man. I just know n------ probably wanted me dead and some other stuff. I don't know."

Police told KHQA that there are no suspects presently under investigation.

According to Fox 2 Now, Hawkins was shot at 12:30 a.m., taken to the hospital and released, which is why he was awake for Harvey's 5:00 a.m. live interview.
