Olive Garden Waiter Surprises Mom, Helps With Baby

When an Arkansas woman decided to visit a local Olive Garden, she had no idea what was in store for her and the infant she was carrying.

Dallas French had just left the children's hospital where her baby daughter had been receiving tests. The exhausted mother stopped by Olive Garden to grab a bite to eat and feed her child.

As soon as they were seated, French was struggling to bottle-feed her infant and accidentally spilled the milk. The server could see the milk dripping down her lap onto the floor as the mom made another bottle for the fussy baby.

Little did she know, the waiter was going to bring more than just bread sticks and salad. French was stunned as soon as the waiter dropped the food off at the table and told her to eat while he helped with the baby, according to Mad World News.

The Olive Garden server propped the child’s bottle in place while French enjoyed a much-deserved meal.

French subsequently posted about the kindhearted encounter on Love What Matters' Facebook page:

I forgot to post this Thursday after all that had happened that day I was really out of it (and probably the lack of sleep this past month) but we went to Olive Garden in little rock after Ellees tests at Children's hospital and she was starving and I was trying to make a bottle and spilled it all over me and the floor and made another bottle and our waiter (wish I knew his name) watched all that had happened and just had brought our salad and break sticks and said here let me feed her and you eat. This melted all of us and this is what we need more of! He fed her I ate my salad and bread sticks and that milk on the floor got cleaned up after we left because he just understood! He didn’t even know what we had went through that day and showed us love and understanding – not irritated that I had made a mess and my baby was screaming… Gosh I wish I woulda got his name because he deserves the recognition!! And it’s the Olive Garden on Rodney parham in little rock AR!

The post has since gone viral with more than 67,000 likes and more than 8,500 shares. The helpful waiter has yet to be identified.
