Miley Cyrus Slams Donald Trump For 'Sexist' Comments

Singer Miley Cyrus has called out Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump over what she called his "sexist" comments about women.

Trump shared a photo of his wife Melania Trump next to an unflattering photo of the wife of his Republican rival, Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas’ wife, Heidi. The caption read: “No need to ‘spill the beans,’ the images are worth a thousand words,” referencing Trump’s threats to leak information about Cruz’s wife.

Cyrus, a pop singer and vocal coach on NBC TV show "The Voice,"  didn’t appreciate Trump comparing two women in that way.

“Trump can't stop won't stop saying stupid a-- sexist s---!!!!” Cyrus wrote in an Instagram post. “Comparing two women! Are you f------ kidding! We will not allow you to destroy everything we have overcome as women! I feel as though we are stronger than ever as a unit.”

She continued: “We have an understanding and respect for one another (more than Trump can say about anyone, his fellow candidates, other races and religions, other public figures, just HUMAN BEINGS in general, and of course animals! Check out his family hunting photos!!!!) It’s absolute insanity that this has gone on this long and far! Wake me up from this nightmare someone PLEASE!”
