Kristin Cavallari is under fire after she tweeted a picture of her children on July 4.
The Daily News reports that Cavallari, who became famous after starring in the reality TV shows "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills," posted a photo of her two children, 3-year-old Camden and 2-year-old Jaxon, playing on the beach. The photo reportedly prompted some Twitter users to claim that Cavallari is "starving" her children.
"Wow," one user wrote, according to the New York Daily News. "I want to like this picture but for obvious reasons I [can't]. Please look into feeding your babies."
Another woman who claimed to be a nurse and the mother of six children wrote that she was "deeply" alarmed by the photo and urged Cavallari to consult with nutrition experts.
"I understand you live a very strict dietary lifestyle but these children are very obviously nutritionally deficient," she wrote. "A great pediatrician and dietician would be so helpful."
Cavallari, for her part, has fired back against her critics.
"Yep, I starve my children," she sarcastically commented on her own post. "Just blocked the most people I’ve ever blocked in my entire life. Happy 4th hahaha."
Cavallari, 29, and her husband, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, welcomed their third child, baby girl Saylor, in 2015, according to Us Magazine.
This isn't the first time Cavallari has landed in hot water over her parenting skills. She came under fire in the past for admitting that she and her husband did not vaccinate their first child for fears that it might lead to autism, the NY Daily News noted. However, the CDC has determined there is no link between vaccines and autism.
