Jennifer Lawrence Does Pole Dance At Strip Club (Video)

A video (below) of actress Jennifer Lawrence doing a pole dance hit the internet on May 17.

The video was taken without Lawrence's knowledge while she was at a friend's birthday party at an Austrian strip club in April, reports Fox News.

"I dropped my paranoia guard for one second to have fun," she said, explaining the incident. However, as she asserted on Facebook, "I'm not going to apologize. I had a BLAST that night."

She did admit, though: "Nobody wants to be reminded that they tried to dance on a stripper pole by the internet."

Some social media users commented that she was wearing only a bra at the strip club. To which she replied: "That's not a bra it's an Alexander Wang top and I'm not gonna lie, I think my dancing's pretty good. Even with no core strength."

Although Lawrence is most famous for starring in the hugely popular "Hunger Games" series, she has been nominated twice for an Academy Award, taking home the Best Actress Oscar for "Silver Linings Playbook" in 2012, according to her IMDb. Her first Oscar nomination was for the 2010 film "Winter's Bone," for her role as the character "Ree."

Regarding her acting method, she says:

I don't get emotionally drained, because I don't invest any of my real emotions. I don't take any of my characters' pain home with me, I don't even take it to craft services. I've never been through anything that my characters have been through. And I can't go around looking for roles that are exactly like my life. So I just use my imagination. If it ever came down to the point where, to make a part better, I had to lose a little bit of my sanity, I wouldn't do it. I would just do comedies.

Politically, she was "raised a Republican," but has since changed her views: "I just can't imagine supporting a party that doesn't support women's basic rights." Speaking in 2015, she said: "I don't want to stay quiet about that stuff. My view on the [2016 U.S. presidential election] is pretty cut-and-dried: If Donald J. Trump is president of the United States, it will be the end of the world."

But the globe continues to spin, and she says things are good with her career. "I'm doing what I love, and then I get months and months of rest," she says. "I have a lot of money for a 21-year-old. I can't stand it when actors complain."
