Ivanka Trump Spotted Making Starbucks Run (Photos)

Is Ivanka Trump just like the rest of Americans?

In what some are calling her latest attempt to appear relatable and others are calling proof that she isn't so different from everybody else, the daughter of President Donald Trump was spotted picking up a latte on June 7 in a Washington D.C. Starbucks.

"Just your typical [Washington D.C.] morning," reads the photo's caption, as posted to Twitter. "Getting Starbucks with [Ivanka Trump.]"

The photos drew a slew of reactions on social media, with some people declaring the first daughter is "just like us!" and others expressing surprise and looking for the Secret Service.

Employees at the Starbucks in question did not confirm the news and declined to say who they served, but multiple Twitter users reported that they saw her in Dupont North Starbucks.

"So Ivanka Trump was behind me in line at Starbucks this AM and I was reading and deada** didn't notice until she gave her order," one Twitter user said in a series of posts. "I thought, 'that is a familiar-sounding voice,' and turned to put my wallet back in my bag and then thought, 'that is a very tall woman.' And then said tall blonde woman gave her name to the barista as 'Iva' and YUP THAT'S DEFINITELY HER."

According to that Twitter user, Ivanka ordered a nonfat vanilla latte without whipped cream. No word yet on what size she got.

As the Huffington Post notes, Ivanka has picked up her own Starbucks drinks on other occasions from the coffee shop in Trump Tower.

The photos come days after the 35-year-old presidential adviser was photographed wearing a $35 dress from Target, notes Yahoo Style. The black shift from Victoria Beckham's collection had two lilies printed on it and while it wouldn't be the first time that Ivanka wore affordable clothes in a public setting, it has captured the attention of many.

"The dress picture says 'I don't necessarily want to be associated or aligned with the Trump administration,' said branding expert Eric Schiffer, the CEO of Reputation Management Consultants, according to Yahoo. "... It shows that she is doing things that are asynchronistic, or not connected to [her father's] actions."

Whether Ivanka is attempting to distance herself from her father's administration, to silence those who accuse her of being out of touch, or simply just to wear and drink what she wants, the world is paying attention.
