Comedian Sarah Silverman appeared as Hitler on "Conan" on March 10 and tried to distance himself from Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump (video below).
Conan O'Brien mentioned the New York Daily News' March 6 front-page headline, "Trump is Hitler," which was published in reference to a comment made by comic Louis CK.
"It doesn't get much worse than 'Trump is Hitler,'" O'Brien wise-cracked. "So I've asked if he'd come out tonight to address these comparisons."
Silverman then walked out on the stage dressed in a Nazi uniform and a fake mustache.
“Don’t get me wrong, Conan, I agree with a lot of what he says, a lot," Hitler told the late night talk show host, notes Uproxx.
"Like 90 percent of what he says, I’m like, ‘This guy gets it," Hitler added. "But it’s just, I don’t like the way he says it. It’s crass."
Hitler went on to say how he was offended that Trump talked about his large penis while he (Hitler) had a micro-penis.
"Oh, yeah, I’m so sure Donald Trump has a big penis," Hitler stated. "I famously have a micro-penis. That’s what makes a tyrant!"
After Conan expressed sympathy for Hitler's micro-penis, Hitler added, "All these comparisons to Trump, it bums me out. Sometimes I watch him and I’m like, 'Is that how people see me?' And I have to be honest, Trump, he’s starting to make me rethink some of the things I’ve done … Awwww, who am I kidding? I gotta be me!"
On March 5, Louis CK sent an email to his fans that made the Hitler/Trump comparison, noted the New York Daily News: "Please stop it with voting for Trump. It was funny for a little while. But the guy is Hitler. And by that I mean that we are being Germany in the 30s. Do you think they saw the s--- coming? Hitler was just some hilarious and refreshing dude with a weird comb over who would say anything at all."
