People in California just learned the hard way what happens when a self-driving car glitches out:
Google has been working on a self-driving car for a while now. And until recently, they haven’t caused any accidents. The self-driving Lexus SUV drove into a bus in Mountain View, CA. The car stopped because some sandbags were blocking the lane. Thinking the oncoming traffic had also stopped, it pulled into a passing bus. Nobody was hurt, but Google was hesitant to respond. Google cars have traveled 1.3 million miles since 2009. This is only the first crash caused by Google technology. Will self-driving cars be the way of the future?
