A girl who needed help cheating on her boyfriend discreetly decided to text a friend, but made one mistake -- she texted her boyfriend instead.
The girl, named Zoe, reportedly thought she was texting a friend about a man she was seeing behind the back of her boyfriend, Jordan. She explained in the frantic text that she had a scheduling dilemma with both of her lovers, and needed help to figure out how to solve it.
I'm literally so anxious right now…
I've been seeing this guy behind Jordan's back and we had really important plans TOMMORROW Bc Jordan was supposed to be at work.
And then he texts me and says I don't have work TOMMORROW and I don't wanna let my other guy down.
And I told him and he was like 'I new you wouldn't come' and I feel so bad BC I'm letting them both down BC I'm a stupid ***** .
And I'm so sad and I already waxed my entire f***ing body to f*** this dude HELP'
What the girl didn't realize, however, was that she sent the shocking message to her boyfriend, Jordan, rather than her friend. Jordan, who had reportedly been saving up money from his job and working overtime to afford to take his girlfriend to Florida, was outraged and expressed it on Twitter.
"When you accidentally tell your boyfriend you're cheating on him," he tweeted. "#2yearswithahoe."
"I deleted everything but she said it was a dream she had and she meant to send it to a friend. Called her a dirty **** & said block me back," he later added. "She's not the brightest."
Many readers felt as though Jordan shouldn't have made the incident public, and rather ended it privately.
"No need to publicly shame. Just walk away, lick your wounds and do not look back. But, do warn your friends about her," one Daily Mail reader commented.
Others shared similar stories of cheating and texting their significant other.
"I texted my boyfriend I was thinking of dumping my tinder matches because my girlfriend wanted to see some of the guys...when he texted back 'wtf' I told him I was window shopping. I dumped him soon after. I've also texted my brother a nude ... sending things to the wrong person can be so humiliating. Ok lucky the people I know are Decent and wouldn't put it on display for Public because everyone makes mistakes," one reader commented.
In a similar story that went viral, a young woman texted her ex-boyfriend and led a conversation entirely with lyrics from Adele's hit song "Hello."
"Hello from the other side," the conversation began.
"Hey you," the ex-boyfriend replied.
From there, the confused ex tried to understand what the woman was telling him, even questioning whether she was saying she wanted to get back together.
