A couple’s engagement announcement on Facebook led to a shocking accidental revelation.
A woman by the name of Miranda Levy shared news of her engagement on Facebook, with a photo of the happy couple sitting on a couch showing off a ring, Mad World News reports.
“Words cannot express how happy I feel, and how lucky I am,” Levy wrote. “He wasn’t able to give me a real ring yet, but what matters is what’s on the inside.”
She ended the post by referring to herself as “the future Mrs. Kelly.”
Soon after the announcement was made, friends and family began pointing out something interesting in the corner of the photo.
“Is that what I think it is in the corner?” one friend asked.
“Well, I guess what’s on ‘the inside’ really does matter,” another wrote.
Even Levy’s father expressed his surprise.
“Honey, you should call us,” he commented. “Your mother is confused.”
Levy quickly responded, initially expressing confusion over the comments. A minute later, though, she finally realized what everyone was talking about.
Levy and her fiance failed to notice that a pregnancy test sitting on the couch next to them made its way into the picture — prompting them to make yet another announcement just a half hour later.
“Hey guys, we’re having a baby too,” she wrote.
