When this woman decided to leave her abusive boyfriend, he brutally beat her face with a hammer. But now, thanks to the kindness of one Australian dentist, she has a brand new smile:

Marlene Tighe of Australia wanted to get out of an abusive relationship. When she broke up with her boyfriend, he violently attacked her with a hammer, leaving her badly disfigured and blind in one eye. Despite hardships, Marlene has been hopeful and encouraging to other abuse victims. Sydney dentist Brian Phillips heard Marlene's story and wanted to help. Now, Marlene has a brand new smile and a new outlook on life. She plans to keep working with women who are affected by domestic violence.
