Congresswoman 'Plagiarizes' Melania Trump's Dress

A Democratic congresswoman "plagiarized" the $2,190 dress Melania Trump wore during her infamous Republican National Convention speech.

"Rep. Joyce Beatty (D-Ohio) was apparently one of the lucky few people to get her hands on the outfit, and, in what has to go down as one of the sickest political convention burns ever, she wore it to her address at the Democratic National Convention on Thursday evening," The Huffington Post's Nick Wing wrote.

According to KUSA, Beatty says her husband bought the dress and "told her to wear it."

“Now it’s blowing up all over the nation that it’s the same as Mrs. Trump’s, but I don’t know,” the congresswoman said.

For kicks, Beatty clarified on Entertainment Tonight that the dresses aren't technically identical: "I have heard others say [Trump’s dress] was a zero, or she is a zero. But I am a 10.”

I don't know about you, but I feel more well-informed already.
